1) Cutting edge technology at the service of the Tourism and Hotel Industry
Progress and the steady increase in tourist traffic and related services make it necessary to research and make better use of water and energy resources. We who work at Vigorfluss, either in the search for technological solutions or in the application of our preventive and reparative projects regarding water and energy use believe it is essential to be able to optimize the availability of water and energy in such a major and complex industry and this involves conserving available water and energy resources. This is a big responsibility, since there should be a change of attitude towards the search for a new climate of energy cooperation and water management. None of this is utopian or gratuitous; it is worthwhile thinking, working and benefitting in this respect. A point of convergence is to admit that water management is above all a common problem and, therefore, a common business and also complementary, since it requires a division of tasks between the Tourist Industries and the various “auxiliary” industries, such as Vigorfluss, which offer real solutions to lessen the impact on tourist facilities in general.

Athough private industries and trade have been excluded in terms of contributions from EU funds, the European Union is developing its policy regarding water and energy sustainability, and is doing so through its Directives and Regulations, the instruments for funding the research, projects and advertising initiatives which give access to the widespread use of the systems, devices and projects that facilitate the proper use of water and energy.

Just note that these funds are available to Member States and that Regional Governments and Municipal Councils can make their own records, in collaboration with Vigorfluss, in order to obtain said funds.
3) Projects based on water and energy return with no prior payment
The use of Vigorfluss devices can make a noteworthy contribution to the large Hotel and Tourist Industry, in exchange for a lease or supply contract. Said agreement, based on annual water-energy return, would determine the proportional amount to be calculated on the overall volume/value of water saved at the end of the first year in each area in which said devices have been installed. For example: Hotels, Housing Estates, Apartment Blocks and other types of Residence, Sports Facilities, etc.

6) Implementation of the system and transition period
Vigorfluss water saving devices can be applied in the facilities chosen by each Industry’s own maintenance service. Their return is immediate and progressive from the time of their installation. The first results are usually appreciated after six months, when the use of the system is consolidated and said Industries start to notice the benefits.
7) How to apply for EU funds, step by step
- I In each case, we present the Industry with a project to cover the needs of specific facilities, in which the details and amount of the operation are defined. See each individual project.
- After approval of the project, we deliver the devices to the Industry which has contracted us in order to install the system.
- After six months, the first results are analysed.
- It is normally after one year when each Industry defines the results. Then we charge the annual fee or the amount of the goods invoiced.
